The IASS Foundation is a non-profit association registered in the State of Arizona, governed by a council on which each member academy is represented and supported by a small secretariat.

The foundation holds no commercial interest in the research it supports. It exists to fund and preserve independent social science, to protect the people who carry it out, and to keep the record available after a member academy stops publishing.
