Mandate
What the academy does
- Analyse the strategic behaviour of emerging powers and middle powers
- Study the rule of law as an operating constraint on resource and technology competition
- Maintain the federation's international relations and grand-strategy programme
- Preserve, translate and publish the record of the archived field branches
Foundation
Founded in 2023 to give the federation a seat outside the regions it studies, and to carry the analytical work into questions of international order: how emerging powers behave, and whether legal rules survive contact with resource competition.
